2023 WSOP Schedule Released

The WSOP revealed its schedule for the 2023 series in Las Vegas and it includes the debut of two new games.
The 2023 World Series of Poker returns to Las Vegas this summer for the 54th running of the most prestigious tournament series in the world. For a second summer in a row, the WSOP takes place in the heart of the infamous Las Vegas Strip at the newly minted Horseshoe Casino (formerly Bally’s) and Paris Casino. The spacious convention area will have more than 600 poker tables during the 2023 WSOP with nonstop cash games and satellite action 24 hours a day.
The 2023 WSOP includes 95 live bracelet events on the schedule. The WSOP officially begins on Tuesday, May 30 and the final event starts on Tuesday, July 18.
The 2023 WSOP includes 34 online bracelet events at WSOP.com. There are at least 20 for anyone playing Nevada or New Jersey. Online bracelets events are also up for grabs in Michigan and Pennsylvania.
New players at Pala Poker can receive a $25 bonus for registering an account. Additionally, making the first-ever deposit of at least $10 will award a 100% bonus, capped at $500.
Main Event Starts July 3
The WSOP Main Event has always had a $10,000 buy-in, and this year is no different. The 2023 WSOP Main Event has four starting flights beginning Monday, July 3. The two-day Main Event final table begins on Sunday, July 16 and concludes on Monday, July 17.
The 2022 WSOP Main Event had 8,663 entrants and a $80.7 million prize pool, which fell short of setting a new record. Espen Jorstad is the defending Main Event champion, and the Norwegian pro banked $10 million last summer.
The 2006 WSOP, which occurred during the peak of the online poker boom, was the richest Main Event in WSOP history with 8,773 entrants and a prize pool of $82.5 million. Jamie Gold shipped the 2006 WSOP Main Event for a $12 millions score.
The organizers of the 2023 WSOP will make another aggressive attempt to break the Main Event record. They are giving away 600 guaranteed seats via satellites at GGPoker, with 500 seats through international qualifiers, and an additional 100 seats through their club subscription site.
The WSOP hopes to boost numbers with the inception of Main Event Mania, which takes place the weekend of May 20-21. Poker rooms on four continents will host live events including a $1,175 mega event that will give away at least one 2023 WSOP Main Event seat and travel stipend to Las Vegas. Poker rooms in North America will participate, along with well-known casinos in France, Morocco, Uruguay, and Czech Republic. Main Event Mania also offers a special $140 buy-in step tournament.
You can win a Main Event satellite at WSOP Online, with 112 seats up for grabs between June 25 and July 8. At least 10 seats per day will be given away during the 112 Seat Sprint.
If the Main Event record is broken, a special promotion will kick in called the “Main Event for Life.” Someone in the Main Event field could lock up a free seat every year over the next 30 years.

The WSOP is throwing a bone to the masses with the first-ever $300 buy-in bracelet event. For a modest entry fee of $300, you have a shot at winning a genuine WSOP bracelet.
